Dues are based on dry tons generated or processed annually (DT/year) irrespective of final utilization.

Any other private entity that holds an NPDES, ECA, or other wastewater license or permit that is located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Manitoba, or Ontario.

Membership Categories

  • Generator/Processor Member: Any publicly or privately owned generator, processor, or land applier in the MBA region. Dues are based on annual Dry Tons.
  • Other NPDES Permittee: Any other private entity that holds a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit located in the MBA region.
  • Business Member: Any consulting or commercial firm (not in Generator/Processor or Other NPDES Permittee category) . Dues are based on the number of employees.
  • Alliance Member: Any agricultural or environmental organization.
  • Individual Member: Any person whose employer is not a Generator/Processor Member, Other NPDES Permittee Member, Business Member, or Alliance Member
  • Affiliate Member: Any regulatory organization, academic institution, or governmental agency
